and other rites of passage), and select publishings to unleash
the potential, the soul power, in individuals wishing to bring
greater peace, fulfillment, and meaning into their lives and
the world--to venture into the light and to live their passion.
Information
on spiritual transformation has been available for eons. It
has become increasingly accessible to the average person through
continued technological advancement in the dissemination of
information. The more information that becomes available--the
greater is the demand for it. Spirituality has been the fastest
growing genre in literature in the last six years according
to Publishers Weekly.
Now
more than ever people not only want information--but they
also have unprecedented desire and potential for applying
spiritual principles to daily life. Most of what we believe
is possible, or not, is based on what we experience with our
senses. Having joined the ranks of the great philosophers
of the ages, modern science through quantum physics tells
us that the real world--the world of energy (or one aspect
of the real world)--is not at all what we perceive with our
senses.
We
are all connected physically through energy as well as through
spirit--although the latter has not been proven--yet. We know
from a mental perspective that we are one, that we are spiritual
energy. Now is a time when people can bring this awareness
down to the level of everyday experience. In practical terms,
this means embracing and going beyond fear. It means speaking
the truth even when it may be uncomfortable to do so. It means
supporting rather than judging or condemning. It means seeing
through all the emotional components that separate individuals
to the core essence that connects everyone. It is through
experiencing these deeper qualities through meditation methods
and training that we can most profoundly integrate these qualities
in our lives.
There
are many challenges facing the world and it's people today.
Economic challenges, terrorist threats, and political turmoil
are all inspiring people everywhere to look at the world and
themselves from a deeper more spiritual perspective. We are
never presented with more challenge than we can handle. The
instability in the world is an affirmation that people are
ready to take a quantum leap in evolution. As the old saying
goes, "The darkest hour is always just before the dawn."
A world
transformation will not come from some outer source--a leader
or organization inspiring change. It will occur one person
at a time as people look for an inner source of inspiration,
love, light, and strength. But in order to assist in this
world transformation, we are not necessarily being asked (through
spiritual calling) to DO more. In a way, we are being asked
to do less. We are being asked to surrender more completely
to a higher power that works and moves through each one of
us.
Peak
Publications is the publishing arm of the
Living Purpose
Institute. It highlights The
Magic of the Soul: Applying Spiritual Power to Daily Living,
written by Reverend Patrick J. Harbula. It presents a variety
of practical guided meditation methods & relaxation techniques
for going deeper into the experience of our essential oneness
with all that is--with our experience of the miraculous state.
It brings the ideology of oneness down to the level of practical
experience.
The
Magic of the Soul professes that spiritual magic exists
in every person, every experience, and at every moment in
time. Even in times of struggle or suffering, the magic of
the soul is present. Looking for the magic of the soul in
every experience is a powerful way to access spiritual force
and to move to resolution and greater peace.
When
we look back on our most difficult situations in life, we
often see them as our times of greatest growth and may even
feel blessed for them. The magic of the soul suggests recognizing
the blessing in the moment--right when the challenge is occurring.
By doing so, we seize the opportunity to learn and grow even
more fully from the experience. We access the magical capabilities
of our souls as we learn whatever lesson is available.
The
point is not to eliminate or minimize the pain in difficult
situations (although that may occur in many cases). The point
is to go deeper into all of life's experiences to find the
magic in this incredible gift we have been given. We can even
go deeper into the pain we experience. What we may find in
our deepest pain is our deepest love. In fact, at the deepest
level of all human experience, we may find our deepest love,
for it is love that is our essential nature. Love is the glue
that connects us with all that is.
There
is nothing to join at the Living
Purpose Institute. It exists as a support organization
for individuals and groups wishing to transform their lives
and the lives of others by participating in the ever increasing
brilliance of the network of light consisting of those dedicated
individuals committed to bringing a higher order of integrity,
compassion, caring, and support tot the world.
Living
